Letters

I sent out actual letters awhile ago. I found paper and rubber stamps, crayons and glitter, and I made some letters. I wrote words down on paper. How are you? The world here is turning as well and the leaves will soon be scarlet. They were put in envelopes and affixed with stamps. They were put in a mailbox and collected by a postal worker. They sat in the dark, in sacks and boxes, they saw the light of the sorting room. They eventually made it to peoples doors. The envelopes opened, ripped, torn. The words devoured by surprised minds. A letter? How quaint.

You know what happened?

THEY E-MAILED ME BACK!!!

“hey jhayne, that was so cool. why’d you send me a letter?”
