There was an earthquake<\/a>, richter 8.9, there was a tsunami<\/a> that shifted landmasses<\/a> devastating Thailand, India, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka. There is a rising death toll, currently counted<\/a> as 52,000<\/a> and expected to climb<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Unicef<\/a>, Direct Relief International<\/a>, World Vision<\/a>, and American Red Cross are beginning humanitarian efforts in these areas. Unicef<\/a> and World Vision<\/a> take cash donations for food, medical and shelter needs. Direct Relief International takes money<\/a> and product donations<\/a>. The American Red Cross is currently only accepting financial donations<\/a>, but you can donate online<\/a> or by call 1-800-HELP-NOW.
