I like you
Things are starting to work out between us. We’ve put the relationship on hiatus, but have kept the being Together bit. It’s difficult not to kiss him, but now it’s arranged that, yes – this is only temprary, so that we might fix some of the hurts.
His birthday is on Sat. Going to be forty. No, I should say that proper. Forty. There’s to be a party here. If we could fill the house, we’d be happy, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. Not enough warning, really. Plus – it seems
chunk of rock – falling
I brought home a puppy today for Ray, but he got here first. Bill told him what’s happened between us before I arrived with is puppy. Before he left Ray said that I certianly don’t do things by halves, do I? I told him that I plan on ending my day by being hit with a meteorite.
frozen hands and feet
I’ve got a puppy here in my lap.
There’s no fixing things, but he lets me not cry. If only in spurts.
my number
Showers pounding out a new beat
I trade my old shoes for new feet
I grab a new seat
I don’t like the one I got
The fabric’s wearing through
And it’s wearing me out
You’re wearing me down
Watching old baseball games
And low budget telethons
Ain’t like watching you yourself
When you yourself is on
Got time to wander to waste and to whine
But when it comes to you,
It seems like I just can’t find the time
So watch your head and then watch the ground
It’s a silly time to learn to swim when you start to drown
It’s a silly time to learn to swim on the way down
If I gave you my number
Would it still be the same
If I saved you from drowning?
Promise me you’ll never go away
Promise me you’ll always stay
Closed down the last local zoo
I’m gonna win the endless war
Over who kills the last koala bear
And who in death will love him more and I
He grabs me by the hand
Drags me to the shore and says
Maybe you don’t love me
But you’ll grow to love me even more
And I well I’m not surprised
If I gave you my number
Would it still be the same
If I saved you from drowning?
Promise me you’ll never go away
Promise me you’ll always stay
Showers pounding out a new beat
I trade my old shoes for new feet
I grab a new seat
I don’t like the one I got
The fabric’s wearing through
And it’s wearing me out
You’re wearing me down
So watch your head and then watch the ground
It’s a silly time to learn to swim when you start to drown
It’s a silly time to learn to swim on the way down
If I gave you my number
Would it still be the same
If I saved you from drowning?
Promise me you’ll never go away
Promise me you’ll always stay

well – that’s it. It’s over. He doesn’t want me any more.
the first housing
*yawns* What a long tiresome day so far. Such an anti-climax to the wonderful time we had last night.(Thank you
Today we finally tracked down the cell number of the fellow upstairs who is to be giving us monies. He hasn’t appeared here at the house for the last day or two. When the ringing ends – No. He’s moving out today. (Though still he owes money). Ah spiteful day with your overhanging boredom. Waiting and wanting and waiting.
I suppose I’d better call up

PREFACE:
*russ and ray are watching jhayne play freecell while she’s stuck on the phone”
russ: looks like a not bad game to while away minutes with, perhaps we should learn
ray: yeah, i suppose, but i would never want to be able to play it like her
*jhayne mechanically wins her 86th game in a row without any hesitations whatsoever*
Today I beat 100 wins while waiting for food to cook. Now I will erase it and start anew.
